Butter Cookies WITH Green plantain flour


INGREDIENTS:

  • 250g butter
  • 150g icing sugar
  • 500g of green plantain flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 teaspoon xanthan gum
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 75g of honey

PROCESS:

  1. Cream the butter, then add the icing sugar and honey, then the egg and the yolk, the vanilla and finally add the flour little by little.
  2. Beat until you get a smooth paste. (If the dough is very soft and it is difficult to handle, refrigerate it for a period of 30 min).
  3. On a table and with the help of green plantain flour and a rolling pin, roll out the dough and cut into the desired shape.
  4. Place the cookies on trays and bake at 175ºC for 15 min.
